Honda Canada Unveils Images of New Civic Hybrid

Honda Canada has unveiled the highly anticipated images of the upcoming Civic Hybrid sedan, signalling the addition of another hybrid-electric vehicle to the Japanese automaker's growing lineup. Production of the Civic Hybrid will commence at the Honda of Canada manufacturing plant in Alliston, Ontario, later this spring. Global Facility

Building on this success, the HCM plant has been designated as the lead North American facility for Civic Hybrid production. The plant currently employs 4,000 associates.
In line with Honda's vision to attain carbon neutrality for all products and corporate operations by 2050, the automaker is determined to expand the availability of electrified vehicles. Accordingly, Honda has outlined its plan to have battery-electric and fuel-cell electric cars account for 100% of their new vehicle sales by 2040. Recently, Honda introduced its first fully electric SUV, the 2024 Honda Prologue, as part of its electrification strategy. Also, Honda will introduce a mid-to-large EV model rooted in the dedicated e:Architecture by 2025.
