Honda Features

Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS):
Scanning up to 100 metres of the road ahead, this feature alerts the driver when a potential frontal collision is apparent with a vehicle or pedestrian. This safety feature reduces your vehicle speed to help minimize the collision severity.

Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS):
Engineered to gently correct your steering when your vehicle is leaving a detected lane without signaling.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW):
Designed to monitor the vehicle's lane position and alert the driver when the vehicle begins to drift into another lane without signaling.

Cross Traffic Monitor:
Intended to help the driver reverse in crowded areas such as a parking spot or driveway, sensors located near the rear of the vehicle will alert the driver when a vehicle is approaching from either direction.

Road Departure Mitigation (RDM):
This feature recognizes lane markings such as: painted yellow or white lines, botts' dots and cat's eye markers to help keep the driver on a detected road way.

Driver Information Interface:
A variety of content is provided for the driver when using the switches on the left-hand side of the steering wheel.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC):
A radar wave is emitted from your vehicle and bounces off the vehicle ahead to help maintain a constant speed and a set following distance. When the vehicle in front changes speed, this feature senses it and accelerates or decelerates to keep a proper distance.

Honda LaneWatch:
A live video feed from a mounted camera under the passenger-side mirror is sent to the vehicle's 7" Display Audio System screen, providing nearly four times more visibility than just the mirror alone.

Car Wash Mode:
When entering a conveyor belt-type car wash, vehicles equipped with the Honda Electronic Gear Selector will be able to enter a car wash mode, which will help avoid possible damage to the vehicle.

Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System:
Providing two options for drivers to get to their destination with ease. The "where to?" option offers shortcuts to swiftly search your preferred category. The "view map" option produces a 3D map with split screen capability to help navigate the road ahead.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed Follow:
Setting a constant speed and interval to the vehicle ahead when detected. This feature also allows your vehicle to completely stop and resume following again.

Truck Bed Audio:
The all-new 2018 Honda Ridgeline sports an available weatherproof truck bed audio system with six audio exciters.
